he could easily play upfront on his own, if he had the proper service.

Playing attacking central midfielders playing on the wing doesn't help.

Barkley who was meant to be playing on the left kept cutting inside meaning eto'o had to move out wide to help link up with baines.

And we created no chances what so ever.

He also scored against Krasnodar, having started the game.

I think it'd be unfair to claim he can't do it considering the circumstances of the 3 games you picked.

Every time he plays it reminds me of the "good business" we did selling Beardsley for 1.5m at 32 to Newcastle.Eto will be a top player for 3 more seasons at least

Mate!!!!!! I had just gotten over that. The first time my heart was broken... Then big nev.... Then kanchelskis

Agree. With the ability we have on the wings, when everyone is fit we'll score a considerable amount more.

When your primary tactic is to get wingers to the goal line as soon as possible and pick out a player, with a player with the experiences and ability of Eto'o you know we'll convert more.

Baines, Mirallas, Coleman, McGeady (sometimes), Atsu (hopefully). We have pace and ability to burn.

Was superb in the #10 position behind Lukaku against Burnley yet was very meh in the same role today despite Sunderland seeming to play a similar way - sit deep, press and try for the counter attack/set pieces. Perhaps just one of those days.

...but he should have scored at the 3rd minute mark...disappointed in his finishing there

Barkley should have buried his chance

Lukaku should have scored

Could've, would've, should've...footballers earning so much, MUST DO BETTER

eto'o is on over £100k a week

this is a boss bit of sly braggery - good work on your £240k a year sir - fancy buying a football club?
