I think he has done what he was brought here for but with players we have we should be challenging the top 4 but we ain’t playing the type of football that we should be,its boring inconsistent and at such and old style and poor quality that I think we should consider our selves lucky we are still in the premier league we just need to build from the back as you are only as good as what your defence is,I like jags and baines but they are aging now and we need to find some replacements for them

The squad was never top 4 standard. Compare it to any of the top 4 and we were a long way off. Goalkeeper is good enough, Coleman is but was injured for most of the season. Keane looked like he was when we signed him. Gueye possibly if played correctly. We had no striker. Walcott is but didn’t have him first half. Siggy could have been but was played out of position. The rest aren’t. It’s better than Burnley on paper, and we could have got top 6 if we had played well but even arsenal have a much better squad on paper, they just bottled it.

He can go but our problem is replacing him with average managers like Silva or unknown for the Premiership as Fonseca

What’s David madocks record like as a jurno? Wierd that he would get some info. My opinion he has just jumped on loose quote from fat sam in the papers confrence he does after tv etc.

Couldn't disagree more. It's not a relegation battle in November. Koeman got sacked because his results/performances were poor and he had lost the dressing room. Allardyce has not done anything except approach every game not to lose. Apart from the ones he threw against some of the top teams.

"Koeman got sacked because his results/performances were poor and he had lost the dressing room". So result performances and losing the dressing room don't lead you to relegation. Okaaaaay. And if in doubt, im closing the door quitetly as another one disappears down the rabbit hole.

If he gets the bullet in the next week or so, you can guarantee that we will see his face as a media/TV punter all over the World Cup and he will milk "saving Everton" for all that it's worth. He will be as smug as anything, as any "savior" should be. Hopefully he will get sidetracked into another managerial job to keep him away from comments about us.

He will be booted as soon as Moshiri has the new manager nailed down and not before, unlike the Koeman sacking disaster that left us scrambling for a replacement.

Who his replacement will be I have no idea, but whoever it is it will be an improvement over fatty.

I think his statement “I have done all I can” is spot on. You have done all you can mate, that is what you do, accumulate sufficient points to stay up, you are very, very good at it, but you have to understand that football is supposed to be entertaining and you are the entertainment anti-christ.

Thank you for your time, I am sure you will have enjoyed your salary and the prestige and reputation you will get from having ‘saved us’ . But as you say, you have done all you can and you can do no more. Unfortunately Mr Allardyce, we want more, quite a lot more, so hopefully you will realise that an amicable parting of the ways will suit all parties. Goodbye and thank you, leave with good grace and you will not forever be villified by Evertonians, leave with a gob on, and you will simpky show yourself up for the person you are :)

Very true. But we should at least have given one of the top 6 a decent game in some of our head to heads. We played quite well in the first half away to City. Were ok uo until the final 10 away to United then imploded. The rest we were taught football lessons.

I don’t think they’ll hang around. It should be before Wednesday if they’re going to do it imo.

Farhad is going to mess with his head like Mads Mikelsen’s Hannibal, slowly destroying every fibre of his being before finally, mercifully pulling the trigger. When the final blow comes it’ll be a kindness.

Or he’ll probably just sack him normally.
