Notwithstanding that post, I've always believed that we were never really in a relegation battle and that proved to be the case.

We were, that is why Ronald got sacked. Sam has come in, slowly and surely addressed whatever that Ronald was trying to achieve which was very bad. And the corner stone of Kenwright with us, was never taking Everton FC near relegation again, it’s unthinkable and he is correct.

Imagine this being the highlight of our season lol

The state of our club

The only things that people will remember from this season in the future are :

Spunking money on poor players.
A spanking by Atlanta.
A spanking by Southampton.
Koeman getting webbed.
Allardyce getting the job.
4- 0 against West Ham.
Allardyce getting webbed.

That really is our season summed up.

I'll wait for the DVD. Don't ruin it.

Don’t forget Rooneys infidelity and driving ban.

Oh and angry birds - neither of them related incidentally

I'm a season ticket holder but didn't go to that one if I remember right.

if you are going to tell me Watford looked great, don't bother, they still conceded 4 against US.
we've conceeded 4 or more this season many times and looked awful. i guess if we're gonna get a spanking we may as well do it in style.

Couldn't disagree more. It's not a relegation battle in November. Koeman got sacked because his results/performances were poor and he had lost the dressing room. Allardyce has not done anything except approach every game not to lose. Apart from the ones he threw against some of the top teams.

I’m sure if my project manager asked me to do a task, even if it was a piece of piss, and I did it then I wouldn’t be getting the boot.

Not sure what industry you work in like.
Lol, like football is comparable to loss adjusting or double glazing installations. Chelsea sack their managers after they win Champions Leagues, as do Real Madrid. Watford sack their managers every 6 - 18 months just 'cos. Trying to make out that football operates under normal business rules is insane.
