Allardyce is doiing everything he can to get sacked. Poor football, belittling longstanting members of the coaching set up like Unsie, insulting the fans and blaiming the board for not backing him. He wants the sack cause he wants a fat sack of cash. He's got no interest in managing us next season.

7th or 8th will never be good enough to me and finishing 8th this season in particular with such a poor league is quite woeful tbh regardless of where we were 5 months ago and how Allardyce's PR machine and pundits paint it. Our target should always be to win the league and trophies. The problem goes a lot deeper than Allardyce of course, however having a Manager who has only ever finished higher than 10th once (twice if you include this season) in the past 14 years can never move us forward. His mindset is that 7th or 8th are ambitious and successful. There needs to be a rebuild from the core and right across the board to get rid of the rot and mediocrity mindset that has been installed and festered over the last 20 years.

It is going to take some doing but there has to be a starting point and hopefully that starting point will be this summer. Everton has been a small minded club for far too long now. The lion needs to awaken and sleep no more.
Better managers have been sacked for getting us higher Colin Harvey 6th one season - Joe Carey 5th in his last season- Taxi for Sam - get the meter running ! shut Jim White up!

He`s got his money whether he stays or not though ?

If they do pull the trigger, he`ll be able to walk away as the victim though, as his mates in the media seem to think he`s the messiah.
