Some of his quotes about preseason planning and identifying targets do.

Exactly, he even said 'for clarity, staying'.

Plus his contract, plus the squad needs a massive gutting, plus big changes in DoF and CEO....

Everything else is just speculation, and wildly optimistic.

disagree
They wanted him for 6 months, he got 18 out of us.
The fans hate him( as Sat showed)
The players don't like him, look how quick lookman got out
Getting a new DOF who not compatible with the current manager ( likes to buy youth, Sam doesn't play youth)
Bill doesn't like him
They haven't come out and backed him at all.

The Clarity line...for a man that had apparently been kept on with his massive ego, would have screamed it from the roof tops, but he didn't he waffled and didn't actual say he staying.

The only reason he could possible stay is if Moshiri won't pay him the 6 million.

“Will Sam Allardyce, the current boss, be staying? For all the opprobrium that was heaped on the manager at Goodison at the weekend, major shareholder Farhad Moshiri has not decided what he intends to do with Allardyce, who still has 12 months left on his contract”.

I hope it's not true Mosh is still undecided with less than a week to go to season end.
If it is true then the club is truely in a sorry state, utterly bereft of clear leadership.

But you don't know for sure. Every time you say he is stayin it is guess work.

Obviously, no one knows, the Esk doesn’t and onions doesn’t, the only man who does is Moshiri and I doubt he told either of them but everything points to him leaving.

Put it this way, if he had a 6 months contract would he get another? No
So why would we keep him apart from the 6 million. There no reason other then the 6 million I can see for keeping him on.

So I’m pretty confident that he gone and will be next week

Well then say that and stop tellin everyone he is gone and shooting down people who says he's not. You have an opinion. Your entitled to it. But that don't make it a fact

Still depressing. If he was being sacked you'd have hoped a shortlist was already drawn up and successors approached quietly. Looks like he's staying

From an owners POV, hes come in and done the job asked and then some, he was tasked with making us safe, we are currently sitting pretty in 8th, so from an owners POV, maybe he thinks, what could he do with a full season?

6m is a lot of money, its 6m we would have to pay another manager, so from an owners POV, why not roll the dice? You think he cares about the fans?

LOL

A decision one way or the other has to be made...
A decision must be broadcast publicly at the end of the season...
Does Moshiri have a plan or another manager ready to come in...
This indecision & failure to confirm or reiterate is leaving the club in turmoil...
We need to move on & prepare for next season...

Sounds fesible. But look under the bonnet of that 8th, a points total that pales even to last year's,. horrendous football, short term fixes, no pattern of play or ethos, negative prenouncements in press conferences, civil war at the club.
