Sam Allardyce Explains Cenk Tosun Situation

This recruitment fiasco is a seemingly never ending nightmare.
Khal. As soon as I read the line "his service hasn't been too bad" I knew it was a load of utter bollocks.

The lad probably went to him and said, wtfs going on with these long aimless ball tactics and then getting nobody up to support me. Allardyce then has him marked down as a trouble maker, drops him to the bench, and releases this statement to teach him a lesson and show him who's boss.

Let's be honest Khal, the lad's been no worse than any of the other forwards who have tried and found it hard to feed off the scraps on offer this season. In fact there were signs, especially in the spurs game, that there's a decent player in there. He hasn't deserved the cold shoulder being given to him by the manager at the moment. Something's gone on.

Indeed.

It is like everything else at this club, Barney.

Rotten to the core.

Good post.

He isn't wrong though, I've not seen anything from Cenk to unequivocally say that he's a better targetman than Niasse.
Don't need a targetman. Need a good striker.
We have the players (when they're not left on the 'kin bench) to get the ball down the pitch without a hoof. We have Walcott and Coleman who can run the flanks with it, Gylfi and Rooney who can cross it, Davies who will run from deep mid, we just need quality at the end to turn that into clear chances and goals. Niasse isn't that. Cenk should be that, yet isn't getting a chance to prove it. Cenk's appearances has come against a Pardew team and 2 of the top 6. He needs to be started for a run of games.

So the fat fraud says “I’ve not tried the lad yet, but I don’t think he will add to the total crap i’m putting out on the pitch at the moment?

Is he saying he's not good enough, surely someone should be held accountable for spending 27m on a player who's not up to it, not saying I don't think he is, I haven't a clue yet as I've yet to see anything resembling more than a half chance created for him, our new 27m striker.

I'm convinced its because he's showed a few nice touches and bits of skill in his limited appearances so far and this biff doesn't like it.

'That's not what I brought you here to do lar'.
