Saha and Pienaar congratulate Chelsea...and get grilled by Spurs fans...

As its already been said, Saha is leaving in a couple of weeks anyway so nothing is really going to change for him. Pienaar however clearly wants out of that place and back to Goodison where he belongs, good on them both, it is stupid saying it when Spurs have just been relegated to thursday nights but they're opposite sides of the city to each other not like they congratulated Arsenal for finishing above them is it, anyone decent person congratulates the winners.

If Liverpool won the CL and one of our players said "well done", I'd want them out of the club immediately, so I can see exactly where Spurs fans are coming from.

It's actually a bit unprofessional from Saha in particular. Those fans pay his wages.
it's not the same. Spurs/Chelsea relationship is nowhere near Everton/Liverpool.

Cahill congratulating Liverpool and Pienaar congratulating Chelsea is completely different.

Cahill's a modern day club legend who's been here for 8 years and Pienaar played about 5 games for Spurs before being loaned back.

This story and the reaction to what was said is exactly why most football fans are utter n0bs.

Well Done Chelsea, Well Done City and well done to anyone else who deserves it. Maybe one day people will be saying well done to Us!

Congratulating an English club for beating a foreign club in a Euro (or world) competition is completely different than congratulating them for winning a domestic competition, especially since neither of Pienaar's teams were in the competition in the first place.

OLOLOL

That ladies and gentlemen is what's known as top, top banter.

World class banter, the best banter ever, legendary banter, unforgettable banter.

Banter.

someone should send spurs fans the video of Pienaar crying when talkign about leaving everton...

i hate spurs

Just shows what bad bell ends fans are. To a footballer that's a major achievement so they're acknowledging thatk as fellow pros. Sir Alex even congratulated city on winning the league. It's called being grown up.

It takes a lot of character to congratulate those you were wishing to fail. And a lot of sides should be thankful Chelsea kept the EPL stats up by winning meaning easier draws for qualifying and group stages.
