Is he the first of the big(ish) European names to be fired? Bet he's quietly delighted to win the pay-off race.
Be interesting to see if his contract gets paid off over there or will they tell him..sure stay and fight your case in our courts. Really hope they are the first country to tell under performing managers and players to go eff off after cancelling their contracts

They'll pay up. Would be a bit hard to attract the next influx of players and managers if they start shafting people and not honouring contracts. And this whole football thing really is a financial drop in the ocean for them

Personally I'm more on side with the individual than the despotic human rights abusing murderers. By the very nature of competitive sport it's impossible for every manager to hit their targets and it can often be more of an issue of wildly trigger happy board / chair than the person being sacked.

Wilder has a really tough start to life, just shows all the relegation teams have difficult festive fixtures. Even if we fail to pick up many points won't be left behind.
