No mate the two are not really related unless Moshiri decides he no longer wants him. He could continue even if Moshiri owned a 100% (if that was what Moshiri wanted). The Chairman figure is going to become more of a figurehead position especially after appointing a DoF.

Ding, ding, ding. The job becomes more about handling the press than setting the direction.

Can we find an Evertonian "chairman" with enough blarney and nous to pull that off? Hmmm...

This is perfect for Bill. No influence on the running of the club, best seat in the house and happy to be rolled out as a figurehead on state occasions, whilst the rest secretly plot world domination.

Interesting vibes about Bill. Probably reading too much into what he says there but is there a hint of Bill moving to a more symbolic (e.g. "life president" or somesuch) role in what he says there?

No mate, I doubt we will ever see Moshiri on the board at Everton. We will appoint someone to come in as Chairman (possibly David Dein)

I'm sure that Moshiri simply wouldn't have the time amongst his wider business interests to devote a lot of his energies towards the day to day administration and management issues at Everton. His trusted representatives will be doing that on his behalf.

“He is a passionate man, he is the driving force for the last many years and obviously an Evertonian and it’s very important for us to keep that culture and we very much hope that the new manager will be the guardian of that culture as well and we all move forward as a big Everton family."

Is her referring to Bill or Ron here?
Ronald obviously mate,he's got to be that Dutch Toffee fella on here;)lol

Early day's, however I have been impressed by Ryazantsev, looks like he means business, was reading his biography on the EFC website, looks like he has business brains/ and good football knowledge. Starting to get excited if only a little.

Good to hear Ryazantsev speak, certainly created a good impression on me.

Seems very capable and I liked the focus on competing with NW rival clubs and the stadium in particular.

It would appear we are in safe, very safe, and ambitious hands.
