Genuinely think they should be banned for well past whenever this Ukraine mess ends so they shouldn't even be entered into Euro 2028.

Can’t believe they’ve actually put themselves down.

Are they absolutely mental.

No doubt UEFA would have been bending over backwards for them given they’ve them all sorts in recent years. But they can’t do it now, it would be suicidal.

Turkey would be another, and given they’ve bid the last 5 tournaments, it would be a great tournament. I think the big issue Turkey has is the political unrest.

UK still makes the most sense, from a ticketing aspect, UK can offer every stadium over 50,000 (except Casement Park), fans are idiots, but to this day, I still think that lies with police and FA who had warnings from the Germany game.

Dark day that.

I’ll have Turkey though, take the kid to Turkey for the football and tick off a few boxes.

But that penalises Ireland, Scotland and Wales who otherwise wouldn't be able to easily accommodate the competition on their own. If it was Celt-centric it would make sense.

I'm sure Turkey or Italy could also put on a cracking tournament too.

As soon as this is all over, part of the rehabilitation will to bring Russia back into the sporting fold. I wouldn’t accept any bidding process from them until the war in Ukraine is resolved.
