Morroco, Cameroon and Egypt get a bid for themselves??? Yet proven big tournement stagers have to share. Strange, well no, its FIFA.
I don't think they HAVE to share, they just seem to want to for some reason

I agree, that South American multi-country bid looks crazy to me - planes criss-crossing the Andes doesn't too bright an idea to me.Think it's a shame how joint bids are now favoured.
To be fair it was a pretty good World Cup.Russia will get it again before England.
The stadium requirements are more than most countries can handle on their own. Ireland have no need for to 60,000+ seat stadiums for example.I don't think they HAVE to share, they just seem to want to for some reason

What like 82,000 seater Croke Park you mean?
I know it's rugby but even so, their footy ground holds over 50k
There is a zero percent chance of post-Brexit UK finding the support from Europe it needs to win
Which still means their stadiums don't meet capacity requirements because both semi final stadiums have to hold greater than 60k. And I'm not sure but it's possible that they also have to be in different cities which creates a problem as both Croke and the Aviva are in Dublin. What like 82,000 seater Croke Park you mean?

Problem being that if there is an Asian bid that eats up Asian countries and a South American bid that gets those countries and an African bid that picks up a bunch of African countries suddenly the votes start to dry up.Well there's only around 50 votes in Europe and over 200 nations in FIFA, so they could still get it if the rest of the nations support it
