last season they sang about Carsleys and Nevilles children, and they justify that by comparing it to singing about their captains bird alledgedly playing away! their g*bshites the lot of em,

and like most of you I've got some in my family, I cant talk about footy to them anymore, just not worth it, maybe it's sad the way it's gone, but thats the way it is, and now I'm all for turfing them out of Everton sections

I think some are missing the point i was trying to make. Yes, its disappointing that we cannot sell out ourselves but safety is the prime consideration. I was not being a drama queen when i stated yesterday that the atmosphere in the 'mixed' sextion in the Bullens was ugly and it very nearly did kick off. I also noticed,as i said in my initial post, that a young lad was visibly shaken by some of it.

The fact is (sadly) that the relationship between the followers of the 2 clubs has deteriorated and the time has come to seriously consider implementing measures that would reduce fans of the away side going into the home section at Goodison and Anfield on derby day. Something will kick off like it so very nearly did yesterday

I know this will make me sound like the good old days, but I miss going to the pub after the game and enjoying the banter win or lose without the need to worry about some knob head (of either club)causing a fight I can actually remember getting the bus to the match at their patch and sitting next to Ian Callahan and enjoying a bit of banter with him imagine a player today going to the match on the bus or even talking to the opposition fans.(y)

I agree mate. TBH, it is a shame that relations between the clubs and their support have deteriorated.

I sat near them today in the Bullens and yet again, there was a number in amongst the home support. Surely its not time for our club to tighten up and make sure this doesnt happen again. It almost kicked off big time and the police had to keep rival supporters apart. Next to me, a kid wasnt in tears but you could tell he was shaken by the experience.

A fella next to me told me that yesterday, Everton had made the remaining tickets available on general sale and this probably accounts for some of their support getting in. Id rather we make a loss on a few tickets than see a number of them in amongst our supprt. Its not sour grapes, but it very nearly kicked off today and unless the club act, it could easily go further in future fixtures

39 point something K

even the derby doesnt guarantee a sell out.

maybe the inadequacies about goodison have extended as far as our former home.

no to the only move available, yes to stagnation.
