How are you holding up mate? Have you managed to get everything organised for the funeral? Little things like choosing songs, going through old photo's and memories can be difficult and emotional but also heart warming and uplifting too.

Would you be able to let us know when Nicki's funeral is so we can send you our thoughts and best wishes on the day

It has been a bit up and down, to say the least. Nikki will be remembered at a church service on Tuesday, 9th November, at 12.15 pm, at St Peters Church, Portishead.

I was fortunate to be able to say farewell to her on the day she passed, and I know she is now safe and free from pain and fear. I also know she is looking out for me. "Those that know need no explanation" or sommet.

We spent a lovely night in Portishead in May on your recommendation. Cherished memories. I'll be thinking of you on the 9th mate. Take care of yourself in the meantime.

The date of the church service for Nikki knocked me back a bit. It is the date of our 62nd wedding anniversary.
Why is life so unfair? Will be thinking of you and offering many prayers on the day.
