Well blow me down. Moved her to their Long Term Recovery room, (still ICU mind), today, so its official. She is Middle Aged Women in hospital now. Can take that.

She isnt well yet, and as they develop her recovery they dont know what might be unearthed, but she is awake, aware, and responsive.

And by a twist of fate, the doctor that did her CPR on NYE was there, so I could thank him properly. He admitted he didnt think she would have pulled through.

So, for now, we are ok.

Thanks again, it meant a lot, and I will show Nikki this thread when she is home.

Let the news keep being positive, all the very best to your wife and yourself. Life throws dirt in our faces at some point, particularly as we get older, having support is very important and I'm sure everyone on here is wishing Mrs Roydo a good recovery.
