Sadly we’re going to see more penalties awarded for similar incidents after listening to that Christina Unkel. She did a great job explaining IFAB’s procedures and how they want games refereed. They’ve absolutely botched it.

Didn’t realise until now, that was his last game with ITV tonight. I know he was dropped as lead commentator a few years ago meaning he wouldn’t commentate on England games but I think he’s easily the best commentator, he’s not monotonous like many of the others.

Terrible call from itv to drop him as lead a few years ago, an even worse call to send him packing now, and not give the fella the upcoming final before getting rid.

Clive is miles better than the current mob of awful commentators, simply because he commentates on the game and what is actually happening, and doesn’t talk gash about nothing to do with he footy like the rest of them.

It's pathetic the way the officials try to justify VAR. The offside and the penalty decisions were a joke. Neither were given by the referee and neither were clear and obvious errors. They're ruing the game.

Clear and obvious was never a consideration for offsides, but it definitely was for handballs. Where's that gone?

Saw the clip where martin oniell asked if it was his choice or pushed. He said he was pushed. Basically told him they were full on matterface now. Off you go.
