The Italians are as poor as they've ever been, but only the Germans rival them when it comes to somehow delivering tournament performances when all seems lost. As ordinary as this Italy is, we must remember that Switzerland drew with Scotland. Yes, the Swiss love being underdogs - as they were when drawing with Germany and eliminating the French three years ago - but they are favourites today. Or at least, they feel like favourites.

I suspect this could go to penalties.
