France being France: arrogant, complacent, entitled.

The Poles have been the better side. From a neutral perspective, I hope the French get through to face, likely, England in the last eight as it would be a huge confrontation. So, I hope they rouse themselves here. As much as I like an underdog story, Poland haven't beaten England for nearly 50 years and will have their tummies tickled by Gareth's Greats on Friday if they win. If England are to win this tournament, as an ABE I would like to see them do it the hard way and beat all of the so-called best sides. I mean, if we have to endure another 50 years of bragging resulting from a second World Cup win, we would like to be able to say they were unquestionably the best and did it the hard way.
