It is, and they obviously have a lot of form for taking things from overseas and then improving them, but to see it done with football and in only twenty years is remarkable. Would anyone be that surprised if they were the first non-European, non-South American champions?

I'd have to think an African country would do it first, especially when the tournament goes to 48 teams

Meh, they were 64th in the world entering this tournament. I'm much more impressed with their women's program.

They made it out of a 50/50 group, and will lose 2-0 or 3-0 in the Round of 16. Mexico does that every World Cup. And I hate Mexico.

He loves to get in footraces w/ defenders one v. one on the flanks. His 1st touch is lousy but he's a decent crosser.
