Whilst you say its unrealistic, I sort of get it. If we can actually afford to refuse 'low ball' bids we could keep him and let him 'lose' a season. No way is Ross worth £10m less than Oxlade. Why should we help him? Its got to suit us. I've always wanted him to stay, but business is business. Unlucky Ross. The price has got to suit us. If not, do one.I agree but if we don't get the price we want , I wouldn't be at all upset if he never played for the club again . Wouldn't upset me at all if he didn't play for us again then leave on a free transfer on lower wages because his value has gone down as he hasn't played at all.
