Player Valuation: £35m
We know this because we are Everton, if we spend big we sell even bigger. This so far hasn't changed, and until that happens we will always believe we are going to lose our best players. This doesn't mean we hope and pray for the contrary.
Mate you do understand how the FFP works don't you? I started to write a reply but I realised it was way to long and to be fair if I were you I wouldn't have read it.
Long and short of it we've been paupers in the prem era for a whole host of reasons. Finally we get money and they bring in FFP which while it should stop money in the game getting out of hand sort of doesn't work because. O body thought of the TV money increases. Essentially we are caught in a position of finally having money but there now being penalties to using it. It sort of means those who were at the top before it came into play don't have to worry about another City coming along and providing a sustained challenge to their supremacy. Instead we have to play a slightly longer game and build more slowly.
I think we will get there, you can't deny the improvements in all aspects of the club the past 12 months. But due to a badly thought through plan to save the game we can't do it overnight even if Moshiri had the money and the will to do it. There's only so many outrageously inflated naming rights deals you can have before people start asking questions
