Plus if you look at chelseas trophy count in the past 20 years id pretty much say they have built there own history so they do have history.
21 trophies since 1997. Including 4 league titles (soon to be 5), a europa league (we havent won), a champions league (we havent won), cup winners cup, euro super cup (we havent won), 6 fa cups (more than us), 4 league cups (we havent won ).

Id pretty much say they have a more succesful history than us. Just because it is recent history dosent make it any less succesful

are we knocking anything off for relegations ?

Was part of one segment mate, literally about 5 mins, Curtis basically stated the sports reporters often suffer due to the 'news' journalist stories in papers. Then said bans from clubs aren't uncommon etc, Irish bloke tore into it a bit though as unnaceptable And said a bit about the history of the writer and the timing of it and the lack of research about Barkley s background was terrible from any journalist intending to have a go to that extent.

Didn't know the host of that show also works for that rag either until today...

It's was a very short piece. Curtis only spoke about the impact it has on his ability to do his job when the news or editorial does something like it did. Said he didn't agree with anything Mckenzie had written obviously. Miquel Delaney laid into them to be fair.

I thought he ran to the said 'Lower Gwladys' yesterday to celebrate.

Perhaps he should of run to the more intelligent FIFA players sitting in the main stand.

I don't hear him being hounded anymore than other players - although granted we aren't the happy clappers brigade.

...I think the £35m relates to a bid from Mourinho when he was at Chelsea.

Hopefully we'd get more then if a few clubs were interested. But I'd much rather he signed a new contract and stayed.
