He was a man today, after the week he has had, could have easily shrunk and hide away, nah bot our Ross. Bossed it, always wanted the ball, even want ballistic at Joel for giving away the pen.

Everton him!!
Made up for him today after the week he's had. Great of the club to back him by banning the rag today. Can't emphasise how important that must have been for Ross.

For the week he has had to turn in a performance of that magnitude shows how good he really is. Pressure? Showed no sign of it and for me represents a real maturity in his game. It's time now to make him integral to the future of our club....and by that, show him how much he is wanted and valued by the club.

I've posted before, give him a deal that reflects his importance on the field, his value off it in representing our values of nurturing young talent and finally, make him the captain of Everton Football Club. For me, he'd revel in that role and take his game to a new level. Brings the club and supporters together and adds responsibility to his game.

Loved his celebration today, meant a lot to him and the support he got from the stands showed what we think of him. Made up for the lad today, just get his future sorted now, seen more than enough to say the best place for him is in Royal Blue.

With all respect we had just finished 17th under moyes and the club looked to be going nowhere (how wrong we were). Whereas now there is so much positivity around the club, new owner, new stadium on the horizon and European football to look forward to. I too agree with you, it is very sad that a boyhood blue wouldn't want to be part of that future.
Hopefully he still will be. His goal celebration has given me hope again! Time will tell.

Funnily enough I thought the same. The banner, his display and reaction to the crowd when he scored and when substituted, didn't strike me as someone who is desperate to get away.
