He said he will be offered one and he expects him to sign. Said he thinks Koeman wanted to see his post xmas form first.

I dont understand that really, even if his form was poor you need to protect the assest. Even an out of form Barkley would command a few quid, especially as everyone knows the talent is there, plus he's English. Better just giving him a new contract regardless than risking him leaving for nothing.

But if he's chatting up the cockney drug dealers/gangsta wanabees girlfriends then the end result will be the same - its just that they may not realise who he is. It doesnt matter if he moves to London, Manchester or anywhere else, if he does what he was accused of doing in any bar, 99 times out of 100 the same thing will happen.

If it was completely unprovoked, then I think he may be a bit more cautious about speaking to random strangers in future - dont think it will affect his decision to stay at all.

Absolutely wouldn't if he behaves like he does in town. He'd be in bigger trouble cos if there's one thing those flash cockneys don't like it's a scouser.

I stopped going to town at the weekend years ago due to all the scruffs. We stick to going during the week in the afternoon now when we go for a drink, and get well out of the dump before the scruffs come out.

Ross is taking some heat for this from some on here, have no idea why. He was out on the tiles, not wearing a t-shirt that said "give me a slap". Some so-called "hardman" gave him a slap on the snide. Precisely the type of scruff who has ruined the place as somewhere for a night out.

Fair enough. Not for me though.

If you look at people who are supreme athletes like LeBron James (really never injured and always successful) and Cristiano Ronaldo etc. they design their life around being the best.
