Might be being over-enthusiastic but, whilst not being anything swashbuckling and box to box, he controlled the game, used the ball intelligently, got an assist...

I personally think that might be the best.

It may very well be. But what's not for debate is this is his best period as an Everton footballer. Even last week he was the only one whose standards didn't drop.
