Ross Barkley

I always think did Rooney leave so early in his Everton career as he had the foresight to know when his standards dropped he would be slated
We slate the local lads and for some reason give the foreign and other signings a endless supply of excuses.

I always think if Barkley would do done what Miralles done in the WBA game last season what would of been the fume from some Everton fans...in Miralles he got away with it

This is without doubt the most ludicrous post I've ever read on the internet, well done

Ross did actually take a pen that Baines was going to take. And missed. It was glossed over. Mirallas still gets slated for his, and was punished by having to sit on the bench for 18 months.

Rooney? With foresight ? Your having a laugh aren't you.

What once, against QPR? No offence but is that a good example of Ross being able to play deep. If he can play deep that's great but it worries me that he can't tackle and seems unable to mark the opposition too well.
He won a load of tackles in that game and it also showed he has the intelligence to play that position.

I know it's one performance against a rubbish team but still a good performance.

Were you expecting a dossier on all his performances in that position ? It's one example where he played well in a deeper role, he's played well there other times as well. I'm not saying he should play deep or that it's the answer to all his problems, just that he has played well there before and it also gives more opportunity to run from deep which is his greatest strength.
