I dunno mate. I weren't there. I just found it strange that Ross got so much abuse apparently cause the stand was sparsely populated by that stage from the footage I saw.

Was probably 1 or 2 beauts as has been said. Not widespread.

If he can't handle a little bit of hostility then he needs to grow a pair and toughen up, he'll be 23 soon. Time to grow up Ross and take responsibility for your own performances.

How many seasons into his Everton career? And we're still debating his best position... if we can't fit him into our team this season under a 'square pegs for square holes' manager then maybe his future lies elsewhere.

Oh, and off topic but I think Besic is a cracking player.

It's fine not to rate Ross. But if you don't rate Ross then it's absurd to rate Besic. Ross has more inability in his big left toe than Besic. Ross just can't seem to apply himself.

I think Besic can dictate the pace of a game and that's something Ross can't do. Besic will come into his own when he's not trying to carry the team on his own shoulders imo. Tidy player, skilful, tackles and harries and harrasses, decent range of passing and plays with his heart on his sleeve. I think he might be a future captain.

Time will tell though.

I think you're wrong but hope you're right!

Besic will be playing for someone like Watford in 12 months time, then spend the rest of his career drifting around lower league european football, Serie B or something of that ilk, in short...... he is absolute rubbish

Ability ? He has some abilities... and just so happens that his abilities he has are the ones that most people find it incredibly hard to do. His problem is... he cannot do the stuff that lesser footballers find easy. He clearly isn't good enough in front of goal to be a striker. He cannot play AM because he can't play with his back to goal and he loses the ball more than half the time it's given to him. So... CM then? Wait.... he doesn't actually tackle, he doesn't even try to tackle actually. He just pretends he is pressing the player and never actually puts his foot in. He does the minimum amount of pressing , just so he doesn't look like he can't actually be arsed. He can't head.... can't decide and doesn't work hard. Basically he can dribble at pace and hit a ball hard with his weaker foot.... THATS IT... he has been crap for the last two seasons... you can say he scored 12 goals last year all you like... but to accomodate him we have to change to 4-5-1 . That's formation was meant to give you an extra man in midfield in order to press the opposition and make it hard for them... with ross as part of that 5 it's exactly the same as playing with 4, only difference is lukaku plays up front alone . If you took ross out and put a striker in the striker would get 12 goals I would imagine ... so has coasted for to long and looks absolutley crap... and has done for a while tbh.
