Didn't play well tonight. Good decision by Koeman to swap him. It's good he has strong competition for places and a no nonsense manager. Hopefully it will make him better.

Agreed - Lets not overreact. Bad Game - But the response from the manager is exactly what he needs. He has to perform. He was the reason we got points the first two games. We all have bad days. How he reacts is the measure of him as a player. But effort and focus can make up for a bad day. Today was not one off those days and he has to recognize ways to contribute when not on his best.

Genuine question: when was the last time Barkley had a game that had the whole board singing his praises the way we are for Gueye tonight?

Koeman doesn't seem the type to be patient with players who are not at the right level. He showing a ruthless streak.
