Ross Barkley

Could be one of the best players for decades if only he believed it himself and learned it's sometimes better to do the simple things
Absolutely. Descision making basically.

(Also lol someone quoted you before you edited out your typo)

We're talking about him being included in a 23 man England Squad, not winning the Ballon D'Or.

Any other player who'd started the season as he had done would be in the squad.

The utter BS about him being uncoachable is a ridiculous slur. He's a very talented professional footballer who has had the misfortune of being managed by 2 footballing dinosaurs in Hodgson and Allardyce.

When did he have the pleasure of being managed by Allardyce?

complain when he's in, complain when he's not in... :dodgy:

I don't think people complain when he gets selected for England, more having to listen to pillocks like Townsend and Hoddle blaming him for every conceivable thing wrong with England when the national team fail to win.

I can well understand why Evertonians prefer for Barkley not to get picked, when every little thing he does wrong gets publicly jumped on by dinosaurs like Hodgson - and now Allardyce, who having previously bemoaned the ostracising at national level of flair players, drops a raw and exciting flair player at his first opportunity, while players like that slack-jawed neanderthal, Henderson, get a free pass every fooking game.

Ross is a very polarizing figure. Stats from early last season would tell you that he is one of the best players in the league, but the eye test will reveal the many things that he lacks in his game. The season just started, and he has already scored a couple of goals (call them flukes, but they were well placed free kicks nonetheless). He also has an assist and has created several good chances for his teamates, so let's see if he continues to produce or if he falls off like he does every year. He has been a loyal blue, and he has worked his ass off under Koeman. It is a good sign.

Like he does every year??
