Funny listening to these guys on Sky sports news today,

"We've got Rooney and Ali in Barkleys position and they are ahead of him"
yeah those two epic failures in the Euros who got embarrassed by the mighty Iceland get rewarded and a guy who didn't play gets dropped lol

Ali been dreadful, sturridge and hart have been dropped. Henderson is average, lallana is just pointless

I expect him to be dominating games not just drifting in and out , he's no longer an inexperienced kid he's played over 100 games and he needs to deliver week in week out with performances that reflect his ability.

We're not talking about the rest of our team - were talking about Ross.
The best central midfielders dictate the tempo of games - when does he do this? Very rarely if ever.

Good point. The same ones fuming about him not getting called up for England are the ones on low grade beak shouting at him during the match to try and impress their mates as they're more arl arse than anyone else.

Scholes should be the example for every manager ... play players in their proper position. England could have won the euros / world cup if the team had been built around scholes rather than shoehorning him on the left.

We're not tallking about other players were talking about Ross who has the ability to do so but doesn't even get close. He doesn't even dominate his own man half the time - take off your blue tinted glasses and open your eyes unless he improves dramatically he'll never fulfill his potential.
