I don't even have hope to be honest. I see no reason why Redknapp would make those claims if not true. He has nothing to gain from making it up. He'd just look a tit if it turned out not to be true.

I think he's going.

If we don't get him to sign a new deal in the next few months he'll be sold as I can't see us letting him get to the last year of his contract.

True if it happens.

Funny thing is, if he does go, I don't think he's consistent enough to command a starting place in one of the top sides yet.

I think he might be making a mistake if he does go as I could see him becoming one of those players who's development gets stunted by sitting on the bench for one of the elite teams.

Hoping I'm wrong and he signs a new contract though.
