He was pretty much equal with Alli in key areas going into the euros last year, yet Alli got all the praise and admiration. And that was when Barkley was apparently 'under performing'

He's ran the show during this run of ours, and that's not to say he was completely anonymous before it. Made up for the lad.

Just wanted to pop in and say how made up i am with Ross' performances lately! After a rough start to the season he is definatley making a few people eat their words. His ball retention has been very noticeably better and also his defensive side aswell even to the point of slide tackling! which i dont think iv ever seen him do before. Well done Ross and also well done Ronny for getting these performances out of him which we all knew he had. COYB!

He was never anywhere near as bad as some liked to make out. Case in point was the Stoke game, where he misplaced a couple of passes and was apparently "horrible".

He is doing the absolute business now. Scoring, assisting, pressing, tackling like a maniac. He's completely and utterly boss, always was and always will be.

Backheel throughball assist for the 5th goal, and celebrating the 6th goal before you even hit it, for your boyhood club. Imagine going to sleep at night with that playing back in your head. Well in Ross.

I think we will remember this day as Barkley's red-letter day. One of his best all round performances. Tracking back and winning challenges as well as affecting the play going forward. Koeman's training methods are working a treat!

I don't hate the lad but I see this season as make or break given his age. He is occupying a very important role on the pitch and for me the end product is not good enough if we have any plans of getting ourselves amongst the Sky 6 on a regular basis. Coleman being our second top scorer with 4 goals speaks volumes. Let's see what he does for the rest of the season. If the consistency does not come we should cash in and replace with a productive number AM

Idiots then if there blues,saying it, if there not then who cares about them, absolutely loved watching him doing that.

Hope that goes down as the moment he finally shook off those confidence issues once and for all, Koeman has done absolute wonders developing him.
