The biggest positive is he has improved since a poor showing in the Derby. As a professional footballer and an Evertonian that must of been devastating. Having been out of sorts for a while it might prove to be a watershed game, especially with Davies and potentially Schniederlin coming in.

With the right players around him he can fulfill his potential and be the player we all want him to be.

He was brilliant, I thought. Everything good about Everton came from him. Creative, persistent, he pressed well, made his tackles and was the one to flick the switch for the team. He misplaced a couple of passes, but I couldn't be less arsed when the rest of his game is that influential.

His work for the second goal was outstanding. He's copped it for letting games pass him by, not grabbing them by the scruff of the neck. Well he bloody well did that today.

I
that's along the lines of my point. he is starting to be consistent. he's not dominating games but the last...i dunno, 3-4 games he's been quite good. get the consistency first, everything else can come along.

I am one of his biggest critics and really hope he can keep this going... that tackle on Henderson might just be the turning point... he started putting himself about in that match... he came on and done ok at Leicester and got an assist which looks to given him a lift... he then snuck a goal at hull which give him another ... he played very well today for the second half and got a standing ovation..... which hopefully means the feel good factor with him will continue and he will find form.. he has been getting into dangerous positions the last few games.... against hull he tried a couple and got a goal and today he had an early shot..... keep it up ross, we all want you to succeed

I swear to you, 2 of the great things he did, keeping ball whick ended up creating the pen was one, arl fella's around me were shouting at him for 1. Going backands and 2. Not releasing the ball....proper screaming at him.

Im not sure what these people actually want from him!!!

There the same people who think Barry is our best player & we're gutted when Hibbert retired. They don't understand

We just have to hope Ross plays that well that they become the minority there are lots of posters on here who have slated him & we have both questioned them however a lot of them have proved to be fair recently & have praised him of late let's just the hope these idiots At the match are stamped out.

I believe the few in the park end who were giving him loads didn't clap him when he was subbed & they all got loads of the rest of the crowd.

Heard exactly the same near me in the paddock, 1 particular myopic div seems to enjoy spending good money to slag off Ross for 90 mins.
