Care to elaborate?

I checked a few stat sites yesterday to back up my feeling that he hasn't been that bad this season. They proved me right. I have watched every minute he had played this year.

Stats can prove just about owt you want them to.

You say you have "watched every minute" Ross has played this season so use your own eyes instead of playing Moneyball.

Ross has been largely poor this season and no amount of "stats" will prove you right in the real world, no matter how much confirmation bias you seek.

My point was that Ross hasn't been that bad in comparison to the rest of the team. Much of the criticism comes from the media and IMO, from what I have seen, he hasn't been that bad.

Take Jags for example, experienced international, been costing us points, criticised by Koeman several times but we're not debating him.

I have used my own eyes and this formed my opinions. From the likes my post received, it appears I'm not alone. I just want a blue who loves our club to fulfill his ambition with us and I'm prepared to give him the time to do so. He certainly isn't as bad as people make out and that is in the real world.

What stats were you looking at in particular? He's got 2 goals and 2 assists in almost half a season playing alongside one of the best strikers in the division.

Some people build players up others knock them down. When he plays well it's the builders out in force when he's bad its the knockers. He's somewhere in the middle. Be gutting if he gets moved on, I'd rather koeman go than Ross.
