Ross Barkley is levels above Jack Rodwell. He's not nearly as half injury prone either.

At the minute i don't think he has the desire to be the real deal. Hope he proves me wrong though

He will ether prove it in the first half of the season or he will be lining up for WBA or the like

Mis-managed, looked overweight, drained of confidence in the 2nd half of last season, I also think him not getting a chance in the euros will make him want to prove everyone wrong. An in form Barkley and there is not much better in the league

The over weight thing isn't right pal, its too much time in the gym!!!! If i was ron i would limit his weight training and excercises and get him on a programme were he is doing alot more running and short busting movements to get that agility back.
He is a big lad naturally, so any more muscle takes away his ability to turn quickly

He already is a quality footballer ffs, what do people want....gazza and zidane mix or its a failure!?!

Ih he doesnt geg any better, he is still and ace player, one of the best we have ever produced.

I Agree..Ye mate I'm not saying he is fat but heavy, either way he needs to lose a stone.

Mate , trust me , you don't get fat in the face and jowls by weight training.

Spot on, it's a disgrace the criticism he get on here, look at his stats compared to top players at other clubs, he at the top.

His second half was poor but that was down to confidence and the team falling apart.

Barkley weakness is his mentality as the moment

Nobody is doubting he is quality, but he not the finished article he can get even better

He is deffo an arm around the shoulder player and not someone who would react to a bollocking I think..
