What I will say is that he's still too willing to take the extra touch and not trust his instinct with the first time pass. He's also still too short ranged with his distribution.

But he's not far off at all. He's going to be an incredible player very soon.

Eventually he'll start making the right decisions more and more in the final third. Also throw in the fact that physically he's going to be on another level to most players in the very near future and you realise what a player we've got.

Barkley has a few special moments but far too often he loses the ball or takes too long to make his decision and has to go backwards with a pass killing our attack momentum. Its no surprise we have struggled to kill games off this season when a lot of balls go through Ross when we have a counter attack.
He has some great ability and potential don't get me wrong, but he just doesn't use it enough.
He tries to do too much with the ball instead of doing the simple stuff well and building from there.
