While we've had a lot of success playing 4-3-3 with him on the right, I was very pleased to see him playing through the middle in the second half.

I don't think Barkley is a #10 in the purest sense, but for me he's at his best in the middle of the park and now that he's really showing consistency I'm hoping Koeman will play him there more.

He did not boss that game... he was crap offensively .. he did put a shift in and won countless headers defensively ... this is why I used to get annoyed with him... because when he was crap offensively it was like playing with ten men. But today he kept going and contributed in other ways and this will buy him time with supporters whenever he has bad days ...
