You clearly don't watch siggurdson

He is a fantastic player with top class end product but he isn't a playmaker he averages 27 touches per 90 minutes

Ross touches the ball over twice as many times as siggurdson'.

Matt cheetham the sky stats analyst who has a season ticket big blue tweeted a few facts about siggurdson & how he doesn't really get too involved or have many touches.

I'd 100% have him set piece goals still count it just seem people have a really poor perception of the real siggurdson.

I stopped reading after the first line.

I have watched Sigurdsson well over 25 times in the last 2 seasons.

I trust my judgement over yours.

Kane signed a new deal on basic £90k a week. Eriksen is rumoured to be on £70k, with Alli on £60k after they both signed new deals before xmas - not earth shattering wages!

Spurs wont exactly be blowing us out of the water with wages, so if he goes there its not for the money.

Money certainly is a factor as well. I would never blame a player who is trying to make the most possible money for himself and his family.

Football isnt a normal profession. Money is no object. It's not like me or you moving firm for an extra 3k a year. If Barkley rejects 70 odd grand a week to chase money them he deserves contempt. If 70k ain't enough a week to play for the blues then his loss and very sad.

I will just have to disagree there. If I were in his shoes and on the one hand I could make 70k/week or move and make 100K/week over say a three year period, I think the decision would be very easy. Almost a 5 million pound difference. Basically an extra year of my old wage plus 1.5 mil.

Personally I think FFP rules should be set up to allow a club to match any contract offer, but that's just not the way it is.

Once your earning anything above about 250k a year money should be absolutely no object. I earn less than one tenth of that. In fact a good bit less. But I like my job. I like my firm. I've no interest in moving.

He doesn't like him and has prodded him toward the exit since being here.

He's not the manager to get the best out of Barkley and Koeman knows he's here three seasons and wants someone he doesn't need to work on. Politics will win out though because it'll look terrible if Stones, Lukaku and Barkley all leave a year after Moshiri tipped up.

Barkley's Form since he was dropped has been the best i have seen from the lad.So you could say Koeman knows exactly how to coach the lad. The penny has dropped with Ross, he's gone from overweight disinterested pasenger under Martinez to a super fit focused midfield bosssssser.

Both club and player will be equally culpable and both will get slaughtered. I'm just so confused why this is happenning. There really is no explanation that makes sense
I think the club has been complacent over his contract. Until recently there seemed to be very little urgency in offering Ross a new contract, even though he had a little over 12 months left on his contract. Maybe I'm wrong but because Ross is a blue and come right through the academy, the club thought he'd sign the contract as soon as it's been offered. As a contract wasn't forthcoming, his agent has alerted other clubs (namely Spurs) and we end up with the predicament we are currently in.

In the modern football era that only really applies to le Tisser. He had numerous opportunities to move to bigger clubs and for more money, but was really happy on the south coast, being the 'main man' in front of supporters who adored him. Maybe he regrets it now, who knows.

I'd really really doubt he regrets it. Money ain't everything. In fact I'd trade a lot of mine away for other things if I could.
