Two minds about Ross. One part wants him here because the lad is clearly talented and could be a real star for the team.
The other sees that he still falls on old habits so many times and how many years do you want to give him before you realise you may have hoped for a player to come through that was never arsed to do it? Part of his issue will always be he is first choice so there has never been a fire under him to earn a place in the team.
I want the player he could be in this team rather than the player he is, the player he is can be a bit of a liability in the team as he can't bloody make a decision quick enough half the time and then runs himself out of space in the process and breaking attacks down. At his best he is a great influence on the team and really shines on the pitch.
If he goes then he goes. Its fair to say he won't get any better than here and it wouldn't surprise me for him to go the way of Roswell after leaving us if he chose to. That isn5 a marker on his ability but if he can't really develop at goodison in 4 years then he will really struggle elsewhere
