Yes, let's lose our best players because the locals are still in the jurassic period.

Or are we trying to prove that the age of the large redundant penis is alive and well?

I used to see Alan Stubbs in the betting office by The Peacock in Kirkby pretty much every week.

In retrospect, I should have chinned him for being there. It'd be his fault apparently, going by this threads' logic.
He was never out of there! Loves a bet him

Not really, Jelavic has literally got croatian mafia looking after him and he's still a top pro.

Footballers mates are who they are, aslong as they don't get involved with it then theres no issue.

Looking after his interests (money) and being his drinking buddies are 2 different things.

Saw Stubbs a few times bladdered and knocking onto anything with a skirt in the 4-5 am bar opposite pink.

Tell you what Dixie Dean wouldn't have been popular here judging by some of the self righteous, po-faced puritans on here, liked a drink did our Dixie. Jesus were none of you moralisers ever young?
To cap it all Barkley gets smacked and some people are treating him as the culprit. Hope none of you ever get called for Jury service. Then again, perhaps I do.:)

Fine mate, let's let Ross off because it's town lad innit, stuff like that just happens. Yeah it does, makes for a boss anecdote to all your mates afterwards but when you're a pro footballer it's stupid. What if circumstances were different and we were going for fourth and he cracks his jaw or skull? Or worse that's a knife? He should understand that when he goes to those places he's got s target on his back. This thread is full of innocuous stuff that has happened to just random blokes 'doing nothing' (although I bet half of you were cracking on to someone's bird) so what does a footballer expect is going to happen if he goes to these places?

Stupid from Ross.

'These places'? It's a poxy dive bar which rips hipsters off for cocktails.

Just make sure you don't get sparked in the street by a stranger on the way home tonight. Not nice seeing anyone losing their job now but your employers would be left with no choice but to bid you farewell if you happened to get walloped.

It’s unlikely to happen; I have work in the morning so I will not be in a pub/wine bar/night club the night before exposing myself to risk. Walking down the street minding one’s own business is entirely different context.
