And what is he doing out in early hours of Monday morning celebrating after beating Leicester, if this is the case, consider him gone, no room for that at a top club. It would go some way to explain what's missing sometimes.

I know its a sad thing to say but Ross shouldn't be out right now. Still in the season trying to fight for 5th place and ross needs to prove himself to a highly demanding manager, stuff like going on a night out wont bode well for the future.

He was on a night out - in a bar not known or renowned for loads of trouble by all accounts - the night after a game.

It used to be common for the entire team to be out in the pub an hour after the final whistle.

Ridiculous.

Naive of him to get himself into that situation? Absolutely.

Should it make him think twice about going out in town on a busy night like that? Yeh, probably.

Was he in the wrong to go out? Absolutely not.

We don't know why the scrap broke out, or what was said or what the reasons were. But Barkley wasn't exactly stumbling about and it's six days before the next game.

He turned up for training/recovery this morning so clearly wasn't getting hammered beyond recognition.
