would love England to win the WC or Euros but the only player who featured yesterday could be in that team is Sturridge.

Out of that starting 11, the only players who should be in the team are Sturridge and Sterling.

You can argue Rooney is world class but I'd play 4 2 3 1 with Sturridge up top. Rooney 2nd option

Out of them I would only take Hart, Forster, Lallana, Barkley, Rooney, Sturridge

We all like a stick to beat anyone or anything related to the darkness. Sometimes though, you have to man up and admit they do have some quality players, Sturridge being one of them. To suggest he's tosh after the season he's just had, comes across as somewhat 'bitter' does it not. Now, Sterling on the other hand....

Hmm, I'd say, LFC or not, if you're English and are performing as he had, he should be in the team.

If his overall play is awful, yet has earned his goal tally, I think I'd be happy personally. Strikers should score goals. Isn't that what we want for Everton too? People bemoan Moyes wanting strikers to get back a la Jelavic, so let's let them get on with their job of scoring, and never mind overall play.

But they probably wouldn't have scored as many as Sturridge did in the league last season.
