Actually wants the ball and can pass. He wouldn't be playing in a Sarri side he went hiding from the ball...unlike a few players in our team.

I genuinely don't even know where his best position is. He's not a number ten but I couldn't see him playing in the middle of the park. On the wing? No chance.

In terms of raw ability, he's undoubtedly a player with immense level, but if we're talking impact and functionality then is he much different to say Cleverley?

He's what I would term an 8/10 similar to Gerrard and Lampard. Not quite good enough defensively to be an out and out 8 but not quite skilful enough to be a 10. They usually operate best in a 3 man midfield with another similiar player and an out and out defensive player. I actually think he's more of a Silva player and with him in the team we would be doing better. However he chose to be an absolute rat and leave so hopefully will never achieve anything and I will be very disappointed if he gets a Rooney style home coming.
