Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

I was so excited to have a big international star like him as manager. What a bloody let down.

Set us back years...and we were already behind.
Biggest 'kin trumpet we've had in generations.

It's the damage he did to finances and the club's previous reputation for buying quality but for value.

I despise the man.

I mean he has had a few good games ffs. He did that for us. Let's see if he can keep it up for a few seasons. Media going on like he is a world beater already because he is at Chelsea. If he was going this at us nothing would be said.
His assist yesterday was the type of quality only the best have. Vision and execution.

The lad just has it. Only someone clueless about football cant see that.

He may have it but at the end of the day he wasn't consistent in an Everton shirt so his execution was average. So just because he has played a few good games doesn't mean he is suddenly class. He needs to prove it over time.

The best product we have ever produced. He will be playing for that Chelsea side for along time. He will be automatic starter for England.

Playing with better players now. He'll get better movement ahead of him to get the ball to...and from others to him.

The best product we have ever produced...

Bit early isn't it?

Early to be talking about replicating the feats of a Chelsea legend, yes. Not too early to be discussing his potential in the team position he's being groomed for. That's because we all know the firepower and range of abilities Ross has.

It's not exactly a secret what he can do. He revealed it on many occasions with us. So all the stuff aout Sarri/Chelsea bringing it out is a bit daft and, as when Rooney went to United, completely undervalues the development he went through here.

He would.

Koeman's bizarrely personal priority while at Everton was to get Barkley out of the door. I think on reflection he just doesn't like midfielders to have that type of talent. He did well in the game by surging forward and getting goals, and he looks to me like he hated anyone getting plaudits for being a talent themselves at that.

He was a strange man. Completely motivated to degrading players. His insecurity issues must be terrible. Just an all round disgusting failure of a coach. Thank goodness he was binned for the imposter he was and is.
"Oh, we've got this really talented young midfielder who's one of the club's top scorers, let's bin him off"? Why on earth?
