I was disappointed that he left because, Rooney aside, he was by far the most talented player I've seen at Everton. You did get the impression that it was better for him to get out of the city, though.

Conte obviously didn't want him, but Sarri is a manager who largely shuns the transfer market in favour of working with the players he already has, so I think Barkley will get enough chances to show what he's about.

That is not a fact at the moment, we don't know whether Bernard or Gomes will be worse in the 2 main positions Barkley could be occupying in the current set up.

Plus, I do still like Sigurdsson and have faith he can be an important player for us.
