Birmingham were not just 6th, they were only 2points off 3rd when they appointed Rooney. Only the top 4 teams had won more Championship games at the point he was made the Boss. I suppose they seen the error of their ways this time, and didnt let it keep dragging on, though to me he was lucky he even got this far before he was sacked. You would think after the Zola effect and the Rooney Farce, that now they may learn, but no doubt they wont.
