So the player who has been our best player this season, is the problem, and should be dropped?

I would not built everything around him.

We clearly has no movement and pace up front while packing all the attacking midfielders in the centre of the park. We are struggled to create goal scoring opportunities so far. Play him or Sigurdsson not both. It does not work.

Koeman really needs to ring changes he is getting into trouble now.

whats worrying is he complains about the 1st half ! no mention of the 2nd half like he was happy with it ? we were terrible all game ! last 10 is hard to judge cos they just held on to 3-0 and dropped back a bit !

A lot of the pundits seem to have written us off already, with most saying that we're certs to finish bottom of the Europa group and certs to be fighting relegation this season.

That's very premature, imho.

If we were in this situation after 27 matches then I'd be worried, but we're not.

This is obviously a complete nightmare. The team looks so unbalanced, the players don't look bothered and there doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel. For what it's worth I still think he's your typical decent manager and my guess is he'll have until around Christmas time to sort this out.

I do have a degree of sympathy for him tbh. The impact of losing Lukaku and Barkley to an extent has been huge. The players we've replaced them with do need time to bed in. We all know the worry is that we've bought completely the wrong players... Complete disaster considering if the likes of Sigurdsson and Klaassen don't settle down they will have absolutely no resale value.

Big difference in a team quitting when effectively the seasons final position is already decided etc mate and when it does it early season when everything is to play for.
