Because journalists are pansies.

"How do you feel about having Rooney at the club? What's the Barkley situation? Is McCarthy still injured?"

I know @Connor said they kind of have to but wish at least one of them would have some balls and ask the questions the fans want answers to because they're not being answered on the pitch.
Because if they ask the questions we all want they lose their contacts in the club and ultimately their livelihood.

It's not their fault.

when we signed 2 number 10's after rooney for nearly 70 million ! didnt see the point ! still dont ! play so narrow ! got no pace ! would love to ask him his thinking !

Ronney is the problem it's like everything has to build around him when he's playing. Play Sigurdsson on Sunday 1 playmaker that's it. We need movement and pace up front.

Imagine convincing players and fans alike, that it's ok to lose these games without so much as a whimper because everyone is better than us and we were expected to lose anyway.

Genuine question, how often do managers manage to turn it around after a bad run? Seems like in the modern game once things start to go wrong player power takes over and the only way forward is to sack the manager.

He's been unlucky with the fixtures but confidence is clearly low now and he may have lost the dressing room.

If he gets the boot and Unsworth is brought in as care taker would it mean a way back for Barkley?

I take serious issue with managers making Everton awful, this moonheaded mayonaise swigger is the second bloke on the bounce to do this to us.

I'd get shut, Liverpool had the bottle to bin Rodgers when Klopp was free, we can write off Koemans pay off as Tuchel is a free agent.

Thoroughly pissed off.

Playing 3 number 10's over and over and not shaking things up is unforgivable.

Bingo, after United smash about 6 past us, offer tuchel the job starting in january so he can actually bring some suiting his system in, and until then give it to unsworth, they will at least play some of the younger lads and will try for him

What sort of manager doesn't play his 30 million pound number 1 goal keeper on an important night when his team have been playing poor so far this season. Goalies dont need rest and rotation. You put your best keeper on always if he is fit. We are playing like we were when martinez lost the dressing room currently. Something has to give. Not many clubs can have 150 million pounds worth of new players and take 10 steps back than last season. It is not just down to gelling either. Sure we need a good striker but the problems are all over the pitch. Cant even pass the ball most of the time, never mind press or create. Never expected us to be this poor considering the excitement of us signing so many good new players in the team. Just waiting for RK's excuses straight out of the managerial handbook like against spurs now and that will finish the evening off in style.
