Spurs played us off the park. Worst part is, half time changes had no impact, because it didnt solve the problem at hand. They were so comfortable they rested Eriksen & Kane for their midweek game.

Awful team set up & awful subs to affect the game.

This. He just made like for like changes which wasn't going to do anything! Davies had a field day on the left, don't think he had to defend at all. Needed to change the formation and bring some pace/width on. Joke!

I think we'll get there eventually. This season is very much set up for a classic Moyes sluggish start followed by a good second half of the season.

It could be a few weeks before we see much of an improvement but it'll come eventually. The other teams in the league really aren't that great and our new players will hopefully be playing at a much higher level by then.

I honestly believe they aren't that great, yet they are far better than ourselves.

I love Everton mate, I just don't see it. We look timid. We look both crap defensively and even worse attackingly.

We are going into a 50 game + season without a recognised striker and not even a formation to hold down. It's dire.

The striker situation is a shambles but we can get around it. Remember the classic Moyes 4-6-0 formation that actually had us ticking us over quite well.

Thing is, Burnley managed to win convincingly at a top ground. How long has it been since we did that?

We will finish above Burnley obviously. We'll probably end up seventh again. And to be honest, if you're not winning any trophies, or even close to winning, how are we actually that different?
