He's a 1 in 2 striker, everywhere he's been. He may have trampoline shins and is a bit of nob, but we would be considerably better with him in the team.
He's improving you know - I think he's one of those players who'd adjust to playing with better quality.
His real problem is that he's a nutter unfortunately, so it's also a no from me.
Wilson is the one we should go for in the summer. He's the real deal.

A Lukaku goal only counts for 0.5 of a real goal, though, because of his technical flaws. A DCL goal is worth triple that because he's a nice lad who puts a shift in.

The best compliment I could pay him is that he is a striker version of Sam Allardyce.... bring him in and your team would not get relegated but it would have to be his way, it won't be pretty on the eye and you will never win anything with him.

I think even you realised that analogy ran out of team before it got going. He’s never been brought in to save a team from relegation has he?
Ran out of steam? No... it was summed up perfectly hencev it didn't need to be long... he falsely gets credit for being a top striker like allardyce did for being a top manager..... the reality is that with either of them the one thing you are assured of is that you won't get relegated.... you won't win anything though as neither have the ability to impact top level games.
But it's ok..... he must be treated like royalty despite crapping on us constantly cos he won us a "we've got a striker who scored 20+ goals" trophy.
Seen the likes of Charlie Austin, Rickie Lambert, Darren Bent, James Beattie, plunder a similar amount of goals in a season to Rom. Similar level of players.

I'm not sure about that one chief. I like DCL a lot but Lukaku is much better, especially when players around him are playing well.
