Romelu Lukaku

He has got to be the most confusing player I've seen. Brilliant and unplayable 1 week, disappears for 2.

More like 5. It's Anonymu Lukaku; par for the course with him.

It's usually not against his bread and butter like West Brom like, who he normally bullies his goals from, so that's a surprise.

All that said, Lukaku has been marginally better in recent months than he usually is.

I was expecting him to get one or two goals against the bottom team in the league to prove what a boss talent he is. Pleasantly surprised. He should wear a Guy Fawkes mask and do edgy Youtube videos about hacking

Awful today but overall a good season for him?

Just had a nose at his return - 25 goals, 8 assists - avg goal every 150 minutes, the best of any Man Utd player.

They're 2nd, a lot were saying he wasn't good enough to be a focal point of an attack for any top team - he is.

Not easy to move to Man Utd, see Sanchez.

I think there's only been one top team in the league this season though. Not a standard battle between the top four - a one horse race.

We all knew he'd score goals. That's not a surprise. But then it's not a surprise that he's been anonymous in most games this season too.

I still maintain that a top side can't afford to have a player like that leading the line. The amount of times the line "he was awful today but..." has been said about him this year speaks volumes - the goals only hide so much.

*counts how many goals hes scored

Careful. Can't compliment Rom, it brings out the weirdos.

I think their bigger problem is the lack of goals from elsewhere.

Whatever way we spin it, he's got double the goals for Man Utd than any other player.

It's tempting to point at what he hasn't got over what he has "DAT FIRST TOUCH THO LOLZ", at 24 he's never going to be a complete player, not many are - but there aren't many strikers better than him.

Sanchez is stinking the gaff out.

Got a feeling something may just click with United next season though.
